1. Booking & Confirmation
1. All transport hire requests must be made in writing via official company correspondence (email).
2. A booking shall be deemed confirmed upon issuance of a written confirmation by Stejos Tours & Travel and receipt of the required deposit.
3. Quotations are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Payment Terms
1. Unless otherwise agreed, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking (other than those having negotiated agreed credit terms) and the remaining balance shall be settled not later than 7 days prior to the first day of intended occupation.
2. Payments shall be made via bank transfer, M-Pesa Pay Bill, or any other approved method stated on the invoice. 3. Stejos Tours & Travel reserves the right to withhold services or cancel bookings for accounts in arrears or where payment terms have not been honored.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Cancellations must be communicated in writing to Stejos Tours & Travel.
2. The following cancellation fees shall apply: a. More than 72 hours before service: 20% of total cost b. 48–72 hours before service: 50% of total cost c. Less than 48 hours before service: 100% (no refund)
3. Approved refunds will be processed within seven (7) business days.
4. No refunds shall be made for services not utilized once the hire period has commenced.

4. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
1. Vehicles are provided strictly for the purpose, route, and duration agreed upon in the booking confirmation.
2. Sub-hiring, transferring, or reassigning the hired vehicle to a third party is prohibited without written authorization.
3. All passengers must adhere to safety and operational guidelines as advised by the driver and company policies.
4. Any damage, loss, or negligence arising from misuse or unauthorized operation shall be borne by the contracting client.

5. Drivers & Personnel
1. All company vehicles shall be operated by qualified, uniformed, and licensed Stejos Tours & Travel drivers.
2. The driver’s authority on matters of road safety, routing, and timing shall be final.
3. Clients are requested to always ensure professional conduct and adherence to safety standards.

6. Service Interruptions & Force Majeure
1. Stejos Tours & Travel shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, including (adverse weather, road closures, mechanical failure, or political unrest).
2. In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the company will make every reasonable effort to provide a replacement vehicle within the shortest possible time.

7. Liability & Insurance
1. All Stejos Tours & Travel vehicles are insured in accordance with Kenyan law.
2. The company’s liability shall be limited strictly to the value of the service provided.
3. The company shall not be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to client property or personal effects.
4. Corporate clients and tour operators are advised to maintain their own travel and business liability insurance.

8. Extensions & Amendments
1. Any extension of service or alteration to the agreed itinerary must be communicated and approved in writing.
2. Additional charges may apply for extended routes, waiting time, or additional mileage.
3. Stejos Tours & Travel reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of similar capacity and standard where necessary.

9. Compliance & Conduct
1. Stejos Tours & Travel complies with all regulatory and safety standards as stipulated under the Transport Licensing Board (TLB) and NTSA guidelines.
2. Clients must ensure that all passengers conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the company’s professional standards.
3. The company reserves the right to withdraw services in cases of misconduct, safety violations, or illegal activity.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.

11. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By entering into a transport hire agreement or confirming a booking with Stejos Tours & Travel, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
