No, you cannot cross the border using only a National ID. You must have either a valid Kenyan Passport (valid for 6 months) or a Temporary Permit generated via e-Citizen. However, you must carry your Original National ID along as secondary verification.

Is a visa required for Kenyans visiting Tanzania on this tour?

No. Under East African Community (EAC) privileges, Kenyan citizens enjoy visa-free entry into Tanzania for up to 90 days.

What if I don't know how to swim at Chemka Hot Springs?

No problem at all! Chemka Hot Springs has local vendors right at the water's edge renting floater rings (for around 2,000 TZS), allowing everyone to relax safely in the water.

What meals are included under "Half-Board"?
