Day 1: Full Day City Tour

06:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi.
06:30 AM: Arrival at Nairobi National Park for a 4-hour game drive.
10:30 AM: Exit the park and head toward the Lang'ata area.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (Requires advance booking).
12:30 PM – 01:30 PM: Lunch break at Utamaduni Craft Center or Carnivore Restaurant.
02:00 PM – 03:30 PM: Visit the Giraffe Center for feeding and photography.
04:00 PM: (Optional) Visit Karen Blixen Museum or Bomas of Kenya.

Do I need to book the Elephant Orphanage in advance?

Yes. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust requires advanced booking via their website as they have a strict limit on the number of visitors per day. We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance.

Can I do this tour if I have a flight layover?

Absolutely. If you have a layover of 8 hours or more at JKIA, this full-day tour is the perfect way to experience Nairobi. We can handle the airport pick-up and drop-off seamlessly.

Are entry fees included in the package price?

Typically, the base package covers transport and the guide. Entry fees for the Park ($43+ for non-residents), Sheldrick ($20), and Giraffe Center ($15) are paid separately. However, Stejos Tours can provide an all-inclusive quote upon request.

What is the best time of year for this tour?

Nairobi is great year-round! However, the dry seasons (July to October and January to March) offer the best wildlife viewing as animals congregate around water holes.

Is the 4x4 Land Cruiser better than a Safari Van?

Yes. For the full-day tour, a Land Cruiser offers better ground clearance for the park's rugged tracks and a much more comfortable "safari feel" with better viewing angles for photography.
