Day 1: Nairobi → Maasai Mara

Depart from Nairobi in the morning in the Land Cruiser.
Travel to Maasai Mara, enjoying scenic views along the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive at your Mara lodge/camp, check in, relax, and then head out for an evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Early-morning game drive, when wildlife is most active.
Return to camp for breakfast.
Midday rest / optional activities (bird watching, optional balloon ride if arranged).
Afternoon and evening game drive to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and possibly cheetahs.
Sunset at a scenic point, then dinner under the stars at your camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara.
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its flamingos and rhinos, this park offers contrasting scenery to the Mara.
Arrive in Nakuru, check in and have lunch.
Afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru, looking out for flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru → Nanyuki

Morning game drive (if time allows) or a relaxed breakfast.
Depart Nakuru and drive north to Nanyuki / Mount Kenya region.
Check in at your chosen lodge or camp (e.g., Maisha Sweetwater or Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club).
Relax in the cooler climate, enjoy lodge facilities, or take a gentle nature walk.
Dinner and overnight in Nanyuki.

Day 5: Nanyuki → Samburu

After breakfast, depart for Samburu. The journey is scenic, taking you through changing landscapes into the rugged Samburu region.
Check in at your Samburu lodge (e.g., Samburu Sopa or Sarova Shaba).
Afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve, where you might see unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, gerenuks, and reticulated giraffes.
Dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Day 6: Full Day in Samburu

Early morning game drive for predators and pastoral wildlife.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Midday: relax, enjoy lodge amenities, or take an optional nature walk.
Afternoon game drive, possibly visiting nearby water points where elephants and other wildlife gather.
Sundowners in the bush, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Samburu → Nairobi

Early breakfast and a final short game drive for last wildlife sightings.
Depart Samburu and drive back to Nairobi, enjoying the landscapes as you go.
Drop-off in Nairobi marks the end of your safari.
